D-Cot Morale Week 2!

I am continuing D-Cot Morale Week this week and I hope you’ll join me again!

For those who missed last week, D-Cot Morale Week is my own creation that mixes a school Spirit Week with a military Morale Day. In the military, Morale Days are days set aside for fun activities and events to take everyone’s mind off of things, give them a break, and encourage people to form friendships and strong bonds with their coworkers. In the Air Force we also wear “morale shirts” on Fridays to show pride in our unit/squadron.

Each day there will be a new theme and my hope is that this small little Disney thing will be a pick me up in these difficult times. Maybe it will remind you of a happier time and take your mind off of everything for a little while. I encourage you to share how you’re participating by commenting or sharing a picture in this thread! Also if you’re not able to use the theme exactly, feel free to use some creativity and improvise! We saw some great substitutes last week

Here are this week’s themes:

MONDAY – Use a Disney mug

TUESDAY – Wear or display a Disney pin

WEDNESDAY – Wear a Disney shirt

THURSDAY – Wear some Disney socks

FRIDAY – Wear a Magic Band (or other Disney item for our West Coast pals)

I thought with some people still working outside of home, I would have a full Morale Week week last week so that perhaps if you couldn’t join during the work week, you could still participate on the weekend. I didn’t see many people join in over weekend so for this week I’m going to see how a 5 day week goes.
