    Beta Testing

    Beta Test Application

THE APP IS NO LONGER IN DEVELOPMENT AT THIS TIME

The D-COT iPhone app is ready to be tested! It is in its basic form. You cannot rate songs or add/remove songs to/from playlists. Please make sure you meet the following requirements in order to be accepted and apply here.

    APPLY

    UPDATE 11.16.17
iPhone App Update: I have it at a point where beta testers are experiencing crashes due to the session login. Once I get that fixed I will do another round of testing. If it all works out, I will feature lock it and plan to have it in the app store by Christmas (pending Apple review). The version of this app is basic (cannot add/rate songs, chat), but you can listen to the music and that’s what most important. Right? :)

    ——————–

    UPDATE 08.23.17

    • Seek bar allows you to jump around throughout the song
    • Loaded the app onto my iPhone and it works great

    Next to-do:

    • Clean up the code
    • Clean up some rough design elements

    ——————–

    UPDATE 08.22.17
As of now I have the following working:

    • Authentication
    • Auto-advance to next song in the playlist
    • Seek bar to see the progress of the current song (start time and end time)

    Next to-do:

    • Load code onto the iPhone (so far testing has been done on the simulator)

    ——————–

What’s this? An app for your phone? Wait.. it’s D-COT?! :p I’ve been working on this native application for the iPhone and here are some working screen shots using the iPhone simulator. The first release will be barebones. You’ll be able to log in and listen to your music. You will not be able to edit your playlists, rate songs and scrub through them. These will all be added as the development continues. Once the iPhone (iOS) version is built, I will develop one for Android. This thread will be updated when new information is available.

I’m going to say yes. This most likely will be for supporters only.

this is great. Now I can play d-cot when I am away from my desk working in the work room. Like today, I needed to do my all day task at my desk so I could listen.
