don’t confuse it with the Fox movie “Goodbye Christopher Robin”.
From what I can gather, the Disney movie is about Christopher Robin as a grown up and he’s lost his sense of imagination and the characters from the Hundred Acre Wood help him find it again. A major plus here is Jim Cummings, (who has voiced Pooh for YEARS) is voicing him in the movie.

The Fox movie is way darker and is way more about AA Milne and his relationship with his son Christopher Robin.

Heather showed this to me earlier today. It looks very intriguing! I’m really happy to hear that about Jim Cummings being the voice!

A live action Pooh? No thanks!

If he wasn’t, this would never be as good as it could be! :pooh: is that Haley Atwell?

I’m just not entirely sure about this movie. I think I’ll still see it when it comes to Netflix or appears on Prime, but I don’t know about in theaters. I’m not sold on the whole Pooh comes to life in the real world. Maybe I’m a stick in the mud, but I really love the Hundred Acre Wood and the innocence of the characters there. I’d hate to see what Pooh thinks of our world..

I totally get what you’re saying but I think the whole thing is to bring CR back to believing in good things. He seems so downtrodden, they’re just there to remind him of what makes you happy.

I bought Goodbye Christopher Robin at Best Buy this weekend! I had wanted to see it when I saw the previews but it was only limited released to theaters. It never played near me. It was a bit darker of a story at times, I truly cried at one point. But there was also fun and joy in the movie. It was very much the story of AA Milne and his son, Christopher Robin. In ways it reminded me of Saving Mr. Banks because of how you get angry with certain characters at times.

I am very much looking forward to the new version too! Each time I see the preview, I get excited! I feel like Pooh and friends will be there to help Christopher Robin find happiness and his sense of fun and whimsy again!
