can’t play music

    i am currently unable to play any songs. right now i can get to the site, get to the jukebox and see the songs. it looks like i should be able to play but nothing happens. I do not now if there is something i can try or if my work is blocking the music from behind the scenes. i am able to stream from other site and had no issues here until about a week ago i have tried chrome, firefox and explore

    I’m sorry you are not able to play the music. Let’s try to get it working for you. When you open up the jukebox, are you shown your list of favorites first? If so, when you click on them, nothing happens at all? Can you walk me through what you’re doing when attempting to play the music? Thanks!

    I click on Jukebox and my favorites appear. I select a song and i can see the heart and the rating etc. I click on the play button nothing happens. I try moving the ‘slide’ and that will not activate to move.
    i have also switched songs and gone to the menu of songs and click on a playlist and same thing happens.

    If you don’t mind, I would like to reset your password and log into your account. Do I have your permission to do so? When I do this, you will not be able to log into your account until I am finished testing. Also, your password will need to be reset once I’m finished.

    I’m having a similar issue. Since my supporter status ended recently, I can’t access the new Jukebox. When I click “Jukebox” at the top of the regular main page to try to access the regular jukebox, I get taken back to the D-COT home page. When I click Jukebox->My Playlists, I can see my favorites list but cannot play any of them. Any help would be appreciated.

    I’m sorry you’re having issues, this is something Steve can look into for you.

    When I click Jukebox->My Playlists, I can see my favorites list but cannot play any of them. Any help would be appreciated.

    As for this, that is not a way to play your music. That’s only for viewing and editing your playlist so you are not experiencing a bug on that front.

    I tested this on a non-supporter account in Firefox and was able to load the playlists and listen without a problem. I want to get this working for you all ASAP. Can someone allow me to reset their password, log in as them, and test out your account? Let me know. Thanks!

    Well this is interesting. I usually use D-COT through Firefox and the Jukebox hasn’t been working lately. I just tested Chrome by logging in to D-COT and I had the same Jukebox problem as I described earlier. But then I went and tried again through Firefox and the Jukebox worked! But it still doesn’t work in Chrome. :D

    After waiting several minutes and trying again in Chrome, the Jukebox is working there too. Maybe you’re working on something under the hood while I’ve been trying all these things :)

    Let me know if you still want to borrow my account to run tests.

    I reset your password, logged into your account using Firefox on Windows 10 and it’s playing fine with no issues. Please reset your password (https://www.d-cot.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword) and try using a different network (maybe at home?). You said it doesn’t work when you’re at work.

    I am having the same issue on my iMac running mac OS Big Sur 11.2. The jukebox and my playlist pull up but will not play when I hit the play button.
