    DAY 3, Friday, May 25, 2018
    Today was the day I had been dreaming of. Woke up much later than the previous day, around 7:00ish. Disney’s California Adventure (DCA) opened for Extra Magic Hours at 8:00. We all woke up, ironed some bacon and finished up the doughnuts (except for one) and headed through Downtown Disney. It was just me, Emelia, Tori, and my Mom. We would meet Morgan and two of my old friends, Micah and his Mom, later on. It was a little chilly, so we had on all our sweatshirts and jackets. We got to the DCA gates and got in around 7:55. We were all corralled into the area that splits into either Cars Land or Paradise Pier, and we were going to participate in the Radiator Springs Race (if that’s the official term). Ropes dropped and we walked straight onto Radiator Springs Racers with a 5 minute wait. This was my second time on the ride, and it’s a lot of fun. We got the Luigi portion this time (last time we received Ramone). I think I like the Ramone segment much more just because of the music, but Luigi was just as fun. I have one question though: How come some of the cars have screens for mouths? Mater/Sherrif/Doc have physical and moving mouths, but others like Lightning and Luigi don’t. I just don’t understand why! Anyhow, we ran the race and won! The line for the ride had extended pretty far down the road, so we opted out of another ride.
    Next was Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, my first time on it. I expected it to be kind of jerky and fast, but it wasn’t. I don’t know if I liked it or not, it just kind of happened. Not sure I’d wait 40 minutes for it, but a walk on works. Then we went on Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree for our second time ever. It’s a lot of fun, especially Mater singing! I can’t wait for the clone in Florida with Alien Swirling Saucers, but it won’t be the same without Mater’s voice. Now that we finished Cars Land and it began to heat up a bit, we still had Magic Hour time to kill, so we strolled through “a bug’s land” to get to Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! for our first ride on it! We walked straight through with no wait. I wish I got to spend more time in the queue and read all the signs, but a walk-on for an E-ticket attraction is just fine anyhow. The pre-show is a lot of fun! I’ve played back the recording of it so many times to the point that I have it memorized! The ride itself is a lot of fun, and that’s coming from someone who despises drop rides. I didn’t like how the Tower of Terror tried to build up the suspense and then do slow drops. GotG really sends you flying up and down! And the scenes are fun too! If you aren’t aware, there are six different versions of the ride, each playing a different song. This ride was played “I want you back” by the Jackson Five. The loop that plays in the gift shop, The Collector’s Warehouse, is also a lot of fun and I wish we had spent more time in there. We had a lot of fun on the ride, so we opted to get a Fastpass to ride it again later in the morning.
    Magic Hours had now ended, so the crowds sort of began to appear. We walked straight on Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue! It’s one of my favorites from when I was little, but I think it could use an upgrade. I mean, look at the Monsters, Inc. ride in Tokyo! The animatronics there have mouths that move up and down! The animatronics in DCA don’t have moving mouths, they just bob their heads around. Also, Roz didn’t do her usual spiel where she called out someone in the vehicle, instead just reciting lines for general use, such as “Move along, nothing to see here.” Honestly, as much as I have a childhood and emotional tie to the attraction, I wouldn’t mind it getting replaced. But that’s just me. While we were down by the Tivan Collection, I pulled us to the Red Car Trolley stop. We’ve never been on it before since this was only our second trip since the Buena Vista Street and Cars Land additions. It was a refreshing stroll down Hollywood Boulevard, and I would use it as an excuse for a proper entrance into “a bug’s land.” The host in the back was friendly, but we were all a little tired, so we didn’t talk much. He did teach us about all the fun architectural design down the road.
    And now, the whole reason we even trekked to California. A proper and final goodbye to my favorite land and attraction in any Disney park ever, which you can probably guess from the title of this trip. We passed the former theater that housed “It’s tough to be a bug!” and it was a little sad to see some of the outside paint job being demolished. Flik’s Fun Fair is the main theme of the land, where Flik and his friends showcase attractions, all of which (except one) are copy and paste attractions. Our first stop was Flik’s Flyers, essentially the balloon rides at carnivals. I really like this attraction though, especially all the cartons used as the seats. All four of us crammed into a Casey Jr. Animal Crackers box after a short 10 minute wait and flung around Bug’s Land to the score, The Flik Machine. I love this score so much and it perfectly matches the ride theme. While on board, I had a hard time processing what was happening. My dream to visit Bug’s Land one last time was coming true, after I felt like there was no hope. It was all so surreal, I couldn’t believe it. However, the ride ended and we hopped onto Francis’ Ladybug Boogie. Essentially, it’s a mix between Mater’s and the Tea Cups, only you don’t control the spin. I didn’t expect much from this ride since on our previous trip, we received a ladybug that had no spin at all. Boy was I in for a treat. We spun around like crazy, it was so much fun! Then, my Mom and I hopped on Tuck and Roll’s Drive ‘Em Buggies. Emelia sat out since she has driving anxiety and Tori sat out because he had to call his scheduler for his DCA work later that night on what his role would be. So we waited a bit, and I could tell the Cast Member running the controls was not having it that day. He was very grumpy and rough in voice and he yelled a lot. Anyhow, the two of us grabbed our Buggie, which was Roll if I remember who is which (you can tell the difference between the two by seeing which one has a unibrow). It was the one buggie type with the sociopathic smile, if that helps anyone. Anyhow, people just assume this ride is bumper cars. That would make them some sloooooow bumper cars. However, this ride is meant to be just driving around the big top. The spiel instructs to drive with no bumping, and there are crayons dangling instructing which way to drive. Well, like most theme park guests, the people don’t pay attention and end up in crashes. I did my best to avoid the crashes, and I was pretty successful, only crashing about two times (great for my Mom’s back!).
    Now it was time for the OFFICIAL reason why we visited California. See, I would have been fine with “a bug’s land” closing if not for this attraction. Yes, I would’ve been devastated, but those three attractions don’t require a specific trip. But Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train, Heimlich’s does. Heimlich’s is my favorite Disney attraction of all time, which sounds pathetic to some, but I have deep roots in this ride. For one, I was obsessed with trains as a child, as well as food. Well, I’m still obsessed with food, but more recently, I’ve become obsessed with “a bug’s life.” Anyhow, we waited about 10 minutes for this ride, and it was worth every. Single. Moment. Obviously, we sat in the front and we cruised through the giant food dioramas and smells. I will miss that watermelon smell and animal cracker smell almost as much as I will miss the train car design and the narration. Alas, all good things must come to an end, and so did this ride. I don’t get emotional or cry over many things, and I didn’t cry then (but I am getting the feels right now).
    You know what else was coming to an end? Our Fastpass window for GotG! We were one minute late to our time! Anyhow, since Mom can’t do rides like that, she decided to head to the front gate to get Micah and his Mom in. We were giving them some of our free paper tickets so they could join us, but their payment was adhering to the plan I had already devised two months prior. Anyhow, Tori, Emelia, and I rode GotG again and it was a lot of fun. I don’t remember what song it was exactly, but I believe it was “We Want the Funk.” The three of us walked through “a bug’s land” again and strolled out the way that leads to Luigi’s in Cars Land. They had moved all the statues out here, the ones that used to be by “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” Currently, only Dot is by the entrance while all the circus bugs (Heimlich, Francis, Rosy, Gypsy, and Manny) are out by Cars Land. Unfortunately, Hopper is in storage. My reliable sources say he was getting repainted before they announced the closure, and when they did, they gave up. A little sad, but at least we got to see the Candy corn field and the happy Heimlich. After our browse, we walked to the Boudin’ Bakery where we encountered Morgan. The four of us wandered through the bakery while gnawing on the bestest (BLAURGH) bread on the planet. I love their sourdough so muuuuuuuuuuuuch! I could eat it all day. Anyhow, we watched them all process the dough and throw it in the chunker before we found my Mom with our two guests. The whole group was here! The seven of us stopped by Ghirardelli for our free chocolate sample (which I ate because sometimes you have to live a little) before we all dined in the expansive menu of Pacific Wharf. My allergies prohibit Chinese food, Mexican food, and most soups, so I was limited to some sandwich at the Pacific Wharf Cafe. I know I just described their bread as the holiest bread on the planet, but it’s a little tough for sandwiches, much more suitable for bread bowls. Emelia and Tori got Broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl, Micah got clam chowder (praising it as “the best clam chowder ever”) and I have no idea what everyone else got. The three adult ladies all went to Cocina Cucamonga for some burritos and fajitas, maybe a taco in there as well, I have little recollection. After the meal, I had noticed that the Pacific Wharf was serving up the Lemon-Raspberry Pixar cake as part of Pixar Fest, and I wanted one! So I got one with the aid of Tori’s CM discount. It looked amazing, but it tasted like it came off a conveyor belt. Not a legit taste for a cake and not worth $5.99 before tax! Also, the star sprinkles at the base are actually bits of frosting, not even sprinkles! I wouldn’t get it again, but I’m glad I at least got it.
    Afterwards, we took a peek at Pixar Pier at the “Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar Preview Center” whose name cannot be shortened in the slightest bit. Anyhow, we took a nice gander at all the concept art and the Imagineering process. There was one piece of concept art that I wish they went with, replacing Mickey’s face on the ferris wheel with the Luxo Ball, among other oddities. They had a nice model of the whole thing, but it was supposed to look incomplete, which I wish was completed. Most of it was unpainted and there were jars of people and trash cans for the Imagineers to finish placing! It was funny, but not riveting for me. They also had a really fun game of sorts where you got be a CM for a moment! They had a little roller coaster model and placed in front of you was a control panel much like the ones CMs use. There was a dispatch button and emergency stop and everything! And when you pushed dispatch, it went up the lift hill and zoomed around! It was the coolest thing ever! Also, when at the top of the lift hill, the lap bars in the first row pop out! “Brakes! Where are the brakes?!?!”
    I had little desire to do Toy Story Mania since we have it in Florida, but Tori overrode my plans and took us there. Tori has worked there for a while, so he wanted to show us around in a sense. It was at least nice to walk past all the construction walls. They were working on the queue for the Incredicoaster as well as the spires near the Lamplight Lounge, we could hear the drills. They also had quite a few gondolas on the Pixar-Pal-A-Round! Anyhow, Tori takes all seven of us to Toy Story Mania and performs his magic. He got us expedited entry for the ride. And he knows all the secret targets on the ride! I won’t share them here, but if you ride with me someday, I will teach you them! Tori and Morgan teach us the tricks, and it was a lot of fun! I ended up with a score of 182,300. Not my best, but it’s in my top 5 for sure. Tori, being someone who works there and gets to ride it frequently, scored 203,500, the best of the hour. Micah, being Micah, asked to go again, so we got in our expedited line and rode again! Usually in Florida, my arm has an hour or more to recuperate from the violent speed it is thrown into while waiting for the next ride. But also in Florida, we don’t know anyone outside of the Monorails. So when we rode it in California, I got five minutes for my arm to re-strengthen. I thought I did worse, but looking back, I actually did better with 184,700. Tori, on the other hand did MUCH better, topping her previous Best this hour with 251,500!!!!! She was close to Best Today, but still! That’s a lot!!!
    We perused our way down Paradise Park, starting with Golden Zephyr. The Zephyr closes frequently due to high winds, so we just decided to knock it out of the way. Just looking at that ride scares me, so while everyone else went on, I grabbed their tickets and got us some FP for Goofy’s Sky School. I am now the proud owner of 4 Goofy Sky School FP reminders. I got back over there, and their ride hadn’t even begun, so I used the time to check out the Pixar-Pal-A-Round. The doors on all the gondolas were open! But I was very happy to see my favorite caterpillar at the top of the ride with the doors open just enough to say “Pie.” It’s too funny to me. The six of them got off the Zephyr and the five of us who could do roller coasters used our instant Fastpass for Goofy’s. It’s another copy and paste, but I really like all the signs placed throughout the attraction. Goofy is not a good instructor for flying! At least this ride doesn’t spin like Primeval Whirl does.
    Next, we headed to Paradise Gardens, or as it is known right now thanks to Pixar Fest, Pixar Pals. Not even like, a Pixar Pal Plaza or something? Just “Pixar Pals?” Anyhow, I had read something about a Pixarmonic orchestra and wanted to check it out. We waited about 15 minutes for the show, and I’m so glad I saw it! The full show title is “TripleDent Gum Presents the Pixarmonic Orchestra.” It’s a band of about six members playing Pixar tunes in the zaniest way possible. They have a lot of fun, us as guests have a lot of fun, and the music is a lot of fun, especially since they start each performance with “The Flik Machine!” At the center of it all is the Xylophonius Ridiculi, a xylophone with numerous bells, horns, and cymbals attached for maximum zaniness. The “Princess of Percussion,” as the player is called, was really quirky and fun too! And the show uses numerous odd instruments to help out such as slide whistles, kazoos, and even chicken noises! I can’t recommend this show enough. Right before it began, Micah’s mom dashed to the nearest Churro cart (which happened to be in Grizzly Peak). Right as the show began, a stick of cinnamon goodness was plopped on my lap for me to enjoy. A sweet treat for a sweet show!
    After that was a favorite of mine, Silly Symphony Swings. I love how the William Tell Overture fits the swinging so much. I’ve been asking for one in Florida for quite some time, but on this trip, I realized why we haven’t gotten one before. Almost every ride, a CM would have to speak into the microphone and inform guests to refrain from twisting the swing! And in Florida, we have quite a lot of non-English speaking guests. Although, we do have swings in Florida now, only they’re 450 feet up! After the fun ride, Micah wanted to go again, so I willingly went with him while everyone else stayed out. It can get dizzying, so I understand. Next was a ride I was looking forward to, Jumpin’ Jellyfish. See, I used to watch a lot of Disney YouTube videos before I had D-Cot to preoccupy me, and the people I would always watch would ride Jumpin’ Jellyfish and they were having the time of their lives! So I thought it would be fun to go on it with Micah and everyone else!………….I was the only one who went on it. It is literally the most boring ride ever unless you’re 3. BUT, I got some great views of Pixar Pier construction, specifically the boardwalk area! Still, kind of disappointed no one went with me.
    We were running out of things to do at this point, so I suggested a trip to Sarge’s Surplus Hut in Cars Land. I recall seeing something about dioramas there, so we all went there. They don’t call it Sarge’s Surplus Hut for nothing! It has all the props you need to make your own little Cars scene. They had all the die-cast cars and even playsets you could buy, along with their fun displays of the races, World Gran Prix, Italy, and even Radiator Springs! I ended up purchasing two die-cast cars, one of which is a red Radiator Springs Racers vehicle, the other being Pasquale, a blue vehicle from Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters. Morgan then had to leave to make it on time for her work at the Spooky House over in Disneyland, so we said our final goodbyes of the trip.
    It was at this point where I realized we had almost forgot one thing, Emelia’s one and only request (aside from the Zephyr)! Emelia’s obsessed with Zootopia and DCA just so happens to have a Nick and Judy meet. So we hopped over there, got in line, and waited. I kind of understand why their hours are short and why we don’t have it in Florida because there were a lot of people walking by who began screaming with excitement when they saw them (they were probably Furries). I get up to go with them and Emelia pushes me back, saying it was “her meet, not mine.” A little shocked, I stood back with her camera. She had quite the time of her life, so I decided to just let it go. The meet is over by Grizzly River Run, so I made a little joke to the gang about how we weren’t going on it. Suddenly, Micah pops up and declares he wants to ride it! After some talk, Emelia and I agree to ride it with him. Neither of the two of us had been on GRR before, so it was a whole new experience. Tori looked up the wait and it was an hour long. Just when I thought I was saved, he mentions that it was an instant Fastpass. GREAT. So we got our Fastpasses, got in line, and prepared to get wet. Micah was so excited, I was just there for the ride, and Emelia, oh Emelia. Emelia was a nervous wreck the entire time. She was mad at both of us that we “forced her on” even though it was of her free will and she kept proclaiming how she hated river rapids. *Facepalm* Why…… oh, did I also mention that Emelia has the most ear-splitting and loud scream of all time? And guess who sat next to her for every second of the ride, even after the big splash? I almost went deaf and I think the lens on my GoPro almost shattered. And then she got all mad at us when we told her to stop because our ears hurt. I swear, I can’t ever win. As for wetness level, I was surprised how dry I remained. It pretty much only got my pants, not even my lower legs. Just the pants. God is good.
    After our near-death/deaf experience, we walked through Grizzly Peak and Buena Vista Street to reach the Animation building. We decided to spend some time here before the 5:00 Frozen show because Emelia wanted to see it. We agreed to let her see it, only Micah and I were sitting out and riding dark rides. We spent some time in the Sorcerer’s Workshop, a fun little place. Emelia created a little animation of rain dropping in one of the spinners, it was pretty cool. The Beast’s Library is also treat since we could re-experience “Which Disney Character are you?” We all did it, and I got Marlin from Finding Nemo. The description was painfully accurate, but I don’t like being compared to a fish who is over-protective and worrisome at times (these parts were left out of the description). It was about time for Emelia to get in line for the Frozen show, but suddenly, she changed her mind. How predictable. Micah’s Mom then left because she had promised some of her friends to see Solo: A Star Wars Story with them. We got in line for Animation Academy with no clue who were gonna draw. Our Mom sat this out so she could talk to our dad on the phone, as she had just been informed of a Tropical storm headed towards Florida (which, thankfully, never got near us when it made landfall). So Tori, Micah, Emelia, and I walked into Animation Academy and got to draw Lotso Huggin’ Bear from Toy Story 3. We all did a great job, but what shocked me the most, is that there’s a wastebasket outside of the attraction and it was FULL of drawings from the day! An absolutely horrendous sight for me!
    It was now 5:00 PST (8:00 EST). Tori left for work on Paradise Park leaving us three teenagers and our Mom. We stopped by GotG real quick and got FP for 8:25, which was cutting it a little close to Parade time, but I thought we could make it. We all walked to the other side of the park so I could try out Smokejumpers. It’s just a burger joint, but it reminded me a lot of Restaurantosaurus, my favorite restaurant in DAK. Had a lovely conversation with the workers at the counter after I made a remark to my mom about how it was too hot to be sitting outside with all my jackets around my waist. A CM picked up on the sentence and we began to chat about where I was from (Florida) and…well you probably know the rest. I was pleasantly surprised by the waffle fries there, they were delicious! We all got bacon hamburgers except for Micah. I pointed out how the kids menu had Grilled cheese, so he asked if he could get a full size one. Sure enough, they complied, and a full size grilled cheese he got. Although, he said, and I quote, “It’s pretty garbage.” During dinner, we formulated a plan.
    Micah decided he wanted to ride Grizzly River Run again, so I checked the app, and no wait. So he goes to get in line, only to come back. The ride was down! Sure enough, I check the app, and it’s down! So we decided we’d ride Goofy’s Sky School again. Along the way, I went nuts over watching Incredicoaster testing. Place me in Disney, I’m in my happy place and a whole ‘nother world of happiness. Show me the active construction and progress in motion, and I’m the happiest guy in the world. It was so awesome to watch it go for the loop, but I was a little sad to have missed the launch. Anyhow, we waited about a half hour for Goofy’s (Tori didn’t begin working on this until recently!) and we had a lot of fun zooming around the sunset. Next, we went on the Swings again. Along the way, we passed a janitor doing water art and teaching a guest how to do the same! It was amazing to watch! We got in line for the swings and the Incredicoaster does more testing! The queue for the Swings is elevated and the roller coaster track goes right beside it, so I nearly lost my mind when it zoomed by! I just love progress so much! Rode the Swings, and I think we rode it again, but I can’t recall.
    We begin walking down Paradise Park and we spot Tori on the job! He was working as a Parade conductor for the night. So we talk to him, and he informs us that he can get us some seating that’s roped off for a better view. We thank him and go on our way for more fun in the park. We still had about two hours to spare. We stopped by the Boudin’ Bakery for some bread samples, idea thanks to Micah. It truly is the greatest bread in the world! Then we waited about 15 minutes for Mater’s again. We informed the CM that all three of us (my Mom chose not to ride) would fit in the same car. Emelia, Tori, and I have done it once before, so why shouldn’t it work with Micah? And then we’ll have the extra weight to whip us around more! We get in the car, and Micah, being Micah, decides we won’t fit and snags an empty cart. Thankfully no one else was waiting for a cart, but still, we wanted that momentum! We had fun, albeit a little disappointed with Micah. We get off and walk towards “a bug’s land,” when I realized I hadn’t gotten my antennae hat yet! It’s a little flimsy hat that guests can earn as part of a draw for Bug’s Land right now. We got there right as they were packing up the Blueberry Scout Jamboree (the dispenser of the hats)! We walked over that way and were met with an apology as they were packing up. I quickly asked for the hats and all of us got our cute antennae hats. Although, it does say “Bestest” on it, which is a little frustrating.
    We walked straight on Heimlich’s. This was my last ride ever on it, and you can bet I took in every single moment. It was fun at sunset, although I wish my last ride was at night. But not everything can work out. Micah began to question why it was my favorite ride, but I got an escape from him when I suggested a ride on Flik’s. It had no wait, and Emelia and Micah wanted to sit out, so my Mom and I cruised through the sky one last time. I wanted to sit in a Raisin box this time, but Mom made me get in a Chinese takeout box. I was just fine with that too, it’s iconic in a sense! Afterwards, we encountered my favorite game to play in the parks, what are we gonna do until the nighttime spectacular begins (or in our case, the GotG FP)??? We decided we’d take another gander through Monsters, Inc. We waited about 20 minutes, but it felt like nothing. Have I ever mentioned how I love how some CDA animatronics are redressed Superstar Limo animatronics?
    Our Mom decided she wanted no more part in our shenanigans, so we took her over to Tori who got her into the roped seating. It wasn’t the best seats, but it was at least a little less crowded than the streets. Emelia’s feet had begun to ache unbearably, so she decided to sacrifice her GotG FP and sit with Mom. It was just Micah and I, and it was actually a lot of fun. We had 20 more minutes to kill before we could be in the “early” FP window. First stop, Micah’s favorite, the Boudin’ Bakery. We got our bread, ended up walking through the whole thing, and turned right back around to get more bread. Thankfully, the CM handing out samples didn’t recognize us, even though I had my squid hat on. Our next stop was the Animation building. The lobby has screens everywhere showcasing certain scenes and songs, so we laid on the floor in there, rested our feet, and took in some of the awesome concept art and music. Alas, we had to reach the GotG time, and I literally had to drag Micah away because he was engrossed in the show.
    We were five minutes early for the FP, which meant we were good. The official FP time we had was 8:25- 9:00 (park closing). We wanted to catch the parade, which was at 8:50. We thought we could make it, so we headed in and, after a few minutes of waiting, were sorted into the pre-show. Then we waited about 15 minutes for the actual ride itself. That wait put me on edge because I reeeeeeally wanted to see Paint the Night for the first time. We finally got on the ride, front row too, and got the Jackson Five song again. Man it was fun! I pulled out my phone, checked the time, and it was 8:46!!!!! We had four minutes to get from the Tivan Collection to the Little Mermaid!!!! We contemplated running, but Tori told us specifically not to run because other CMs would get us in trouble. So, we speedwalked like there was no tomorrow! Got one last and quick glance at “a bug’s land,” sped past Pacific Wharf, and arrived at our area at 8:49. Our feet and legs ached pretty bad, but we could finally sit. They let in a few more people behind us, and then the parade made its way toward us.
    Paint the Night is a cool parade. I loved the Monsters, Inc. sequence as well as the Cars sequence. Toy Story was also really cute. The Princess section was great but there was this little girl behind us who yelled like there was no tomorrow. She was so excited to see the princesses and wanted to attract their attention. It was VERY loud (but not Emelia on GRR loud). I get that you’re allowed to enjoy a parade and as a kid, you think they will notice you, but it was kind of painful. The Mickey and friends section was very awesome, very reminiscent of the Main Street Electrical Parade. I came to the conclusion that the Mickey head on Mickey at the end is the old Mickey head, but that wasn’t as much a deal as the literal brainwash machine behind him! It was mind bendingly cool!
    After Paint the Night, we found ourselves in the wave of people trying to exit, so, to alleviate the crowd, we took a left at Grizzly Peak and another left at the Grand Californian. I hadn’t been in there for at lest 10 years, so it was nice to check out the place. I wish the Monorail went through it rather than under it, but that’s just me. The four of us trekked through the Grand Cal and into Downtown Disney before making it to our room at the Disneyland Hotel. Mom pulled out some chocolate her friend gave her (and she shared it with us), Emelia took a shower, and I chatted with Micah before his mom would come to pick him up. Tori got off his shift and met us at the room for a bit as well. Emelia fell asleep as I goofed around with Micah, and finally, his mom arrived. We walked to the lobby with Tori and said goodbye to him for the last time. Then we got to the lobby, waited a bit by watching the Pixar short “Small Fry,” and then I said my goodbye to Micah. Then it was time to hit the hay before we would leave the next day.

    Well that sounds like a really fun day! I’m so glad you got to ride Heimlichs (you know I understand the obsession) a couple more times.

    The next time you come out here, half the park will look completely different!

    @bexruns I totally understand! It’s the best! And yeah, I was shocked to discover Pixar Pier opens this Saturday! And the next time I come, I don’t think A Bug’s Land will be open.

    Yeah, the hats were cool except for that minor mistake, but I’ll let it slide. GotG is so much fun though! It is a little intense, but fun! You need to ride it soon! And get more bread while you’re at it! LOL Paint the Night was cool! It was a miracle we made it in time! Of course, the trip reports aren’t over, I still have one more day to write! But it was my pleasure to share it! ;)

    It wasn’t a mistake, they used a real word!!! Just admit it!!! I’m proud of you for typing it too! ;) I’m sure we will love GotG!!! Maybe we should loop through the bread line a few times like you did! ;) I can’t wait to read the next day!

    @laprana I know what I said, just pretend that there’s nothing unusual!

    @Nascfan
    We really packed our days full so we could get everything done in the few days we had!

    @eeyorepoohfan
    Don’t expect me to convert to your brainwaves, as similar as they may be! But you should just pop by Pacific Wharf everytime you pass by for some bread! That’s what Micah and I did!

    You know you are swaying towards my brainwaves!!! ;) That really is a good idea on swinging by to get bread whenever we are in the area!!!!

    WOW! You had a full day! And probably a full stomach with all of the bread samples LOL! My favorite quote from your writing “Our near death/deaf experience.” I literally cracked up laughing.

    It’s actually painful to the ears! We all try to get the seat furthest from her on thrill rides!
