I’ve always wanted to be at Disney on my actual birthday! But the stinky part is my birthday is smack dab in the middle of August (14th) and it’s hot and crowded. Well, these year, I sucked it up and we went to WDW for my birthday! :ears: :map: :mbar: :dole:
    Wednesday August 10th:
My husband and I opted for a slightly later departing flight (mainly because the cost on the early flight was crazy high). 10:25am Flight so that meant we didn’t have to leave our house until 7:15am (our airport is about an hour away). We grabbed 2nd breakfast at the airport and our flight left on time. We had a layover in Dallas so we grabbed Chick-fil-a for lunch and some protein. Our flight was just a little delayed and we left after 2pm and landed by 5:45 at MCO, just missing the rain! We were on the Magical Express by 6:30pm. First stop was OKW, then Saratoga Springs, then French Quarter and then finally Riverside! It was our first time staying here (we stayed FQ in April and really liked it). We were in Room 8035, near the North Bus Stop. It was a cute brick townhouse looking section. Check-in went quickly and smoothly. We picked up the water other other things my sister left for us (she lives in Orlando). We dropped off our carry on stuff and got our pack ready for the parks. We were on the bus to MK just before 8pm.

We were in the FP line for Space by 8:35 for our 8:05-9:05 FP. We then grabbed dinner at Cosmic Rays (split a bacon cheeseburger and fries). Our next FP was for Mine Train but it was down. We went to Pirates with a posted 10 minute wait. Then used our Haunted FP. Then over to Small World with a 5 minute wait. Mine Train was up, so we used our FP from earlier. We then stopped for some castle pics and it started sprinkling. We decided to call it a night because it was nearly 11pm. We got to the bus stop and made the first one to RS! It wasn’t too busy since MK closed at midnight and had EMH until 2am! We are getting old, apparently, and can’t quite make it as late as we used to! We got to our room around 11:40pm and our bags were in our room, waiting for us. We unpacked, got ready for bed and lights out at 12:15am.
