Thursday April 15th:
6am alarm. Paige met us at our room. At the bus stop to MK just before 7am for an 8am opening. Line was pretty short and we were in the park at 7:33am! First stop was Space with a walk on! Then to Thunder with less than a 5 min wait. Then walked onto Haunted. All before 8:30am! Breakfast at Sleepy Hallow of Nutella waffle and a strawberry Mickey waffle. So yum!! Peter Pan posted 30 min but was only 6 minutes! Strolled to Pirates with a 45 min wait. SB for caffeine, about a 25 min wait. We all sat in the grass in the hub to relax and sip. It was such a great spot to people watch and relax! Then off to Buzz with a posted 40 min wait at 11:40am, it was really 25 min. I got Galactic Hero and the ride never paused! I was proud of myself! We mobile ordered Pecos Bills. Then went to Dumbo with a 15 min wait. Our mobile order was ready so we went to Pecos. It was a madhouse inside but we managed to get a table inside upstairs. Bellies full we heading to Jungle with a 45 min wait at 1:45pm. It was really 30 min since we were on at 2:15pm. Then over to Carousel of Progress. Stopped at Auntie Gravities for a chocolate milkshake for Ryan. Paige and I mobile ordered Dole Whips but it took a while for them to be ready. But worth the wait! Took a cool break enjoying the Country Bears Jamboree! Then to the Little Mermaid at 4:40pm with a short wait. Then Winnie the Pooh with 35-40 min wait. Mobile ordered Cosmic Ray’s. Ryan got the foot long chile cheese dog and I got the bacon cheeseburger. So much food! But pretty tasty. We sat down in front of Sony Eclipse. Ryan was not a fan! We then took a lovely riverboat cruise around 6:45pm! Such a relaxing ride and being elevated allowed us some breezes! We then walked Fantasyland. Tried to go to Gastons but they were closed. We walked the temporary Confections location but nothing stood out to us because they had such few offerings. Grabbed Mickey bars and ice cream sandwiches and ate them in the hub grass again. It was just as the sun was setting. So all the lights started coming on and the castle was illuminated. I highly recommend sitting in the grass hub at this time of day! It was magical! We took some castle pics and various night pics. The park closed at 9pm and we were out to the bus stop at 8:40pm. We were on a bus quickly and back at Pop at 9pm. Lights out at 10:15pm.
