Security and Your Account
One of the reasons I switched this site over to a new platform was so that I could take advantage of the better security offered by the various software I use. Since the switchover, I’ve blocked over 25 IPs that were trying to brute force into the site. To increase security, I will be adding an SSL certificate to the site before January 1, 2017. How will this affect you? It will ensure that the data you pass between your network and the server is encrypted and secure.
Modern web browsers are stepping up their game when it comes to security. Chrome will be the first and they announced that starting in January of 2017 they will include a new warning for unencrypted login sites. I will make an announcement when SSL is added.
