Next is SEJ101, and he is going to give us the lowdown on………  well SEJ101, and these ain’t no Rumors!

dngnb8:  Would that be D-COT History 101? Hey! Wait! I’m the contributor of history here, what gives! ????

dngnb8: What is your Disney Dream Job and why?
SEJ101: I’ve always wanted to work at DINOSAUR in Animal Kingdom. I’ve known for many years I’ve wanted to work at Disney, but I could never decide where. Eventually I decided on DINOSAUR because it’s my favorite ride in my favorite Florida park. When I’m eligible, I’m going to shoot for that.
dngnb8:  Just as long as you’re not the Dino Food!

dngnb8: What is your favorite Disney Movie and why?
SEJ101: This is technically Disney. It’s Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. I absolutely loved it and it’s one of few movies where I didn’t get bored from a lack of movement. If we want to go with OG Disney and not an acquisition (well, sorta an acquisition), it would be “a bug’s life”. I have no idea why I love it, but I do. Emperor’s New Groove follows very closely as well. That movie is hysterical.
dngnb8: David Spade brings a laid back vibe to comedy.  You might say he is in a groove

dngnb8:  You write about “Rumors mostly”. What about that topic intrigues/motivates you?

SEJ101:  Rumors are the wildest thing ever. Some of them are pretty crazy, but you can’t brush those to the side because it could still come true! Take for instance, Mizner’s Lounge in the Grand Floridian. I thought a live-action Beauty and the Beast lounge there wouldn’t happen, it’s insane to me. But here we are, another aspect is that the landscape is always changing, most of it being speculation. There’s not much solid fact to rumors, they’re mostly speculation or from undisclosed inside sources, which is not necessarily a reliable source. People come up with new ideas all the time, so the articles have to be updated all the time. It sounds like a lot of work, but it’s not too bad… really.

dngnb8:  Whether it be rumors, news, or just fun here at D-COT, SEJ makes sure we have the 101 on the topic.  Thank you SEJ101 for taking some time to let us get to know you a little better and schooling us on your personal 101.

dngnb8 is one of our contributors to D-COT and helps provide some very interesting historical info as well as the latest official Disney news.

  1. I forgot to mention that I’d love to be a voice actor too :stitch: That job isn’t as high a priority as Dinosaur

  2. I’m with you on A Bug’s Life and Emperor’s New Groove all the way!!!!

But one question that didn’t get asked which I want to know the answer to… please explain the green hat with tentacles. Am I missing something? :P

    • Woot woot!!! :tigger:
I don’t think you’re missing anything. That’s Carl Mari. He’s just a Squid hat that I found at an aquarium plenty years ago. I figured he’s so cool that he’s like my bat-signal of sorts.

  3. ahh dinosaur is so scary!! :surprised:

would you ever do the disney college program? that might be a good way to work on dinosaur :)

    • It’s less scary on the fourth ride through. I used to hate it as a kid, but I kept going on it. Now it’s my second favorite WDW ride!

I wouldn’t say no! It’s one way to do it. Another way that I’m thinking of doing is getting the job and then applying for the Aspire program. Basically that lets me work at Disney AND they pay for my tuition for certain schools.

    • Dinosaur is legit scary but I love it! ;) I like the adrenaline rush from being scared :P

      • i don’t think i’ve ever rode it with my eyes open LOL

ooooh yeah do the aspire program instead! that’s the dream right there LOL LOL

        • Maybe you should ride it on your next trip. I noticed a lot of the animatronics haven’t been fully functioning quite often. No guarantee. :stitch:

          • nah i think i’m good :goofy:

  4. Awwww, I love this!! And I love your squid hat, @SEJ101! :belle:

  5. Awesome interview! Love the insight!

  6. love these “get to knows”…what a great idea. nice to see some non blurry pics of the kid too. I am curious if he ALWAYS wears a hat tho. :)

    • Only if I’m not in a position where I would block a guest’s view of the experience :)

  7. The YODA hat is my favorite!!! :D

  8. how nice of you! no seriously tho…like at home…you always bumming around in a hat? inquiring minds and all. my kids are girls…my teen is always sporting a super huge bun. LOL

    • No. I used to wear a sports beanie back when I was in 7th grade all around the house, but I grew out of it..

  9. I love this !! You are so fun and I really enjoy your pictures !! :)

  10. Oh yay! Great interview! And while it is a super cool hat, I am more jealous about the pic with Heimlich!
