A Look Back at 2017
I would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe Christmas and new year. I hope your holidays are filled with festive cheer and merriment! D-COT has always been a warm, welcoming community and as I look back on 2017, I see it has only grown to be more of the same. You have no idea how much that means to me. 10 years ago in November of 2007, I wanted to build a Disney fan website. Never did I think it would grow to be something this magical… and it’s all because of you. I might have been the catalyst, but you are the energy. The non-stop, loving energy that I get to see every day when I visit this site.
I enjoyed doing the ’10 Days of Giving’ this year and I look forward to bringing more holiday events to the site for all to enjoy. If you have any ideas, my inbox is always open. For day 1, I will be selecting one random person from the Christmas 2017 Event thread to receive one-year supporter status on me.
I know I said I was going to have the D-COT iOS app ready by Christmas and I apologize for not meeting that deadline. After the holidays, I will have more time to invest solely on the app. I’m excited to see what 2018 will bring to this community! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

- 80,718 notifications sent ( probably from @cth0511, @nascfan and @eeyorepoohfan
) - 11,130 photos uploaded
- 493,236 points awarded and 4,741 deducted
- 44,119 replies in the forums

I am amazed by some of these stats, almost 200,000 hours streamed, almost 300,000 activity updates, and almost half a million points?! Wow!
I love this place. I love Steve and his family. I love so many of our members who I not only consider my friends but family. This place truly is home.

That’s a lot of notifications. Probably a good dozen were sent my way what with all the heckling and songs
This place is looking great for the future, I look forward to the new relationships to be made as well as expanding on the ones that I hold near to my heart as it is. It takes great people to make a great community.

I enjoy d-dot more and more all the time. Aside from an actual Disney perk, d-cot is my favorite place to be. Thanks for a great year, Steve and I’m looking forward to many more.
