Walt Disney World Sold Out For 50th Anniversary Celebration

Walt Disney World has already sold out all ticket types for the 50th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for October 1, 2021.

This is obviously the biggest celebration happening at Walt Disney World this year so being able to snag a park pass is hard to get. I had to renew my Annual Pass by January 15th, 2021. I renewed it in the MyDisneyExperience app and when I tried to snag a park pass for October 1st it was unavailable.

I quickly turned to the great Off to Neverland Travel Magic Maker, @Chelle. I shared my concerns for not being able to be at the Magic Kingdom on its 50th anniversary. She quickly got to work to find us a resort room reservation for September 30th. After a few minutes she found one and had it booked. I was able to snag a park pass entry for October 1st at the Magic Kingdom!

As the date approaches, however, more tickets are often made available as Disney gets a better sense of crowd control. Keep checking Disney’s availability calendar to see if they open up more spots.

    • Congratulations! That’s so awesome! I WISH I could be there.
      This may not be a popular opinion @steve, but I wouldn’t worry about live streaming it. Just go and enjoy and take it all in! There will be plenty of other people streaming it for us to watch.
      It’s like when you go to concerts and everyone is videoing on their phone. Put the phone down and enjoy the show!!!!
