Updates to Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue
Virtual Queue timing update effective Sunday, Dec. 20
Beginning Sunday, Dec. 20, distribution times for virtual queue enrollment will be 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. The 7 a.m. is the same as it is now where you can get a boarding pass outside of the park.
However, for the 1 p.m. virtual queue opportunity Guests must have a valid ticket or pass, a Disney Park Pass Reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and must be inside the park. Access to a boarding group is subject to availability and not guaranteed.
When the park hopper option launches on January 1, 2021 and if you park hop to Disney’s Hollywood Studios you will not be eligible for a boarding group. Your original park pass must be for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney encourages these Guests to explore other areas of the park, including in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge where they may experience Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run among other offerings.

I like the 1:00 second chance better than the 2:00. With park hopping, if you don’t get one at that time you can scoot on over to another park for the afternoon/evening. If they want us to “explore other areas of the park” then they need to make the park worth exploring, by bringing back entertainment and shows!

Especially since the Disney stock is at an all time high! Start bringing it back to the Disney we’ve all grown to love. Otherwise it’s no different than a six flags or any other amusement park.

This doesn’t surprise me it’s like the same thing over again, plus no one will ever get the 1pm boarding party because it last than two or three minutes. I feel disappointed!
