The Classic Candlelight Procession Event Announced

Christmas planning in July! HO HO HO!!!!!!!!!!

The Candlelight Procession is a beloved tradition dating back to the beginning days of the Disneyland Resort.

Many stars over the years have lent their voice to the narration of The Christmas Story. The calendar has been released with some dates yet to be determined of who will be reading at EPCOT for 2018

So far, here are the Narrators

November 22-23: Chita Rivera
November 24-Dec. 2: TBD
December 3-6: Neil Patrick Harris
December 7-9: Whoopi Goldberg
December 10-12: TBD
December 13-14: Blair Underwood
December 15-17: Gary Sinise
December 18-20: Pat Sajak
December 21-23: TBD
December 24-25: Edward James Olmos
December 26-27: Jodi Benson (Voice of the Little Mermaid)
December 28-30: TBD

Joined by an 50 piece orchestra and Mass Choir, the Narrator will be reading in the American Garden Theater. Eye candy will prevail throughout the parks and the season will fell chilly, even if in Orlando (I feel cooler already).

Reservations for special dining packages start on July 11, 2018. 15 of Epcot’s restaurants, along with options at Ale & Compass and Trattoria al Forno.

**Dining Packages start at:

For Breakfast: $38 plus tax per person for adults and $22 plus tax per person for children, ages 3-9.
For Lunch: $50 plus tax per person for adults and $16.99 plus tax per person for children, ages 3.
For Dinner: $55 plus tax per person for adults and $16.99 plus tax per person for children, ages 3-9.

This event is one of the Parks true bucket list items. Even Ebeneezer Scrooge would enjoy himself and be blessed by the Christmas Spirit at this event. Merry Christmas! Now if I can just survive these 115 degree days of Phoenix!!!!!!!

  2. This is on my bucket list! We’ve only taken one trip at Christmas because it’s so much more expensive, but I want to go back again to see the Candlelight Processional and MVMCP! :santamickey: if I were going this year (which I’m not) I would have a hard time choosing between Gary Sinise and Neil Patrick Harris!!! :heart:
