Blue Sky Cellar

The Blue Sky Cellar is now open at Disney’s California Adventure. This venue contains the information to the change from Paradise Pier to Pixar Pier. Much like the Opera House in DLR, this venue contains artistic works and models of what is to come this summer.

The transformation into the Incredicoaster is a much anticipated change to story pairing with the release of The Incredibles II. Inside Out will be featured as well with a confectioner shop modeled after Bing Bong. The surprise tearful memory from the movie Inside Out.

Toy Story will make its mark felt with Jessie’s critter carousel with the animal inspiration coming from Woody’s Round Up from Toy Story II.

Numerous references to the Pixar family will touch food locations and rides throughout the pier. Wish to have a frosty refreshment? Just visit the Abominable, I mean Adorable Snowman’s Frosty Treats! It’s Lemon! There will be a place for chicken, churros and dogs all storied to the many Pixar characters you have come to love.

If you wish to see the progress, you can tap into the Disneyland Webcam located at Howard Johnson’s right across the street. HoJo’s is a Disneyland Good Neighbor location. Just search for the Mattercam on YouTube to take a peek. The cam switched to many locations throughout the DLR neighborhood giving you glances at the progress of the park changes.

Summer is the planned opening of Pixar Pier, contact @Chelle and make plans for your DLR trip. Need some hints? I am originally from that area and have visited DLR at least 100+ times. Get into Pixar Fest at California Adventure, I know I will.

  3. Wow that looks so cool! Reminds me of the exhibit they had at WDW showing off Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land. Pixar Pier sounds awesome!

  7. i’m really familiar with Blue Sky Cellar the last time i was there was when they did California Adventures overhaul with Ariel’s Under The Sea Adventure, Carthay Circle & more. Hopefully it stays open for next years D23 Expo they say it’s open seasonal.
