Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge & Play Disney Parks App

As we’ve stated in earlier posts about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, travelers will be able to interact with the land in a way unlike anything they’ve seen before in a Disney park. When using the Play Disney Parks mobile app, you’ll be able to transform the app into your own Datapad!

What does this Datapad do? Well, gawrsh, lost of things! For one, you’ll be able to translate the Aurebesh (the written language of the Star Wars galaxy) signs throughout Black Spire Outpost. That will be very helpful! You can tap into and decrypt signals from antennas or communications devices and listen to secret messages with the “tuning” feature.

Inside Batuu, the :kylo: First Order is trying to install surveillance devices in door panels to spy on the :rey: Resistance. You can join the “Outpost Control” game by using your Datapad and choose to join either side. You will be rewards with galactic credits for your efforts. Which side will you choose?

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run looks to be an exciting attraction. But, it’s more than just that! You can take on a job for Hondo Ohnaka, the pirate turned “legitimate” businessman operating Ohnaka Transport Solutions. Assist in rerouting misplaced cargo, but make sure to keep your cover!

There’s so much in store in Galaxy’s Edge! This new experience opens at the Disneyland Resort on May 31, 2019, and at Walt Disney World Resort on August 29, 2019!
