Disney Guests Weigh In: Inside Reviews of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has not officially opened its doors at the Magic Kingdom, but Disney has been inviting Guests into this vibrant and immersive experience inspired by the beloved Princess Tiana from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. As the buzz continues to build around this new attraction, let’s dive into what Disney guests are saying about their magical journeys through the bayou.
Hold up, what’s it all about?
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a thrilling journey with Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis as they traverse winding waterways to find critter musicians who can jam out and entertain at Tiana’s southern soiree.
This musical adventure crescendos with a 50-foot drop that leads you to the grandest celebration this side of the Mississippi during Mardi Gras season!
A Feast for the Senses
Many visitors have raved about the sensory richness of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. From the moment they step into the queue, guests are greeted with the sights and sounds of New Orleans. Authentic Cajun and Creole music fills the air, and the lush, swampy scenery transports visitors to the heart of Louisiana. According to several reviews, the attention to detail is nothing short of spectacular. One guest mentioned, “The atmosphere is so immersive, it feels like you’re right in the middle of the bayou. The music, the smells, everything just pulls you in.”
Technological Marvel
Disney’s commitment to cutting-edge technology is evident in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Guests have highlighted the impressive use of animatronics, projection mapping, and special effects. These elements combine to create a dynamic and interactive experience that keeps riders engaged from start to finish. One excited guest shared, “The animatronics are some of the best I’ve seen. Tiana looks like she could step off the ride and start talking to you!”
Constructive Criticism
While the majority of reviews have been positive, some guests have offered constructive criticism. If you’re on X, formerly Twitter, then you’ll see an abundance of negative comments and reviews. If you’re other social platforms like Facebook and Instagram, you might see a more positive side.
Scott Gustin provided his honest review, claiming it’s “a win for Magic Kingdom Park and Walt Disney World”.
Some dislike it, clamoring for more conflict in the attraction’s story line. Where is Dr. Facilier?!
There are some that despise it and continue to bash it every chance they get.
Guests like Drew have been following the development of this attraction for months and have only positive things to say.
Others are still enjoying Splash Mountain. (Lucky ducks 🦆)

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is scheduled to open in Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World Resort on June 28, 2024.

while I do think some of the POV ride videos I have seen seem like its a bit boring in storytelling, the scenery is beautiful. I will of course withhold my true judgement til I can finally see it in person
