A Taste of Epcot with Florida Blue
Now through November 22, 2020 you can sip, savor and stroll your days away during the Taste of EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival-Disney’s longest festival ever-at Walt Disney World® Resort. This year may have a different experience to it but you can still venture across six continents and beyond as you sample mouthwatering delicacies from over 20 destinations.
Last night Disney and Florida Blue teamed up to give us a Virtual Taste of EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival. The event started us off with the two Disney World Ambassadors, Marilyn West and Stephen Lim welcome us.
Up first were the JAMMitors at EPCOT’s America Gardens Theatre. This rhythmic clean-up crew breaks it down as they drum up fun with some unlikely instruments! We loved how they were drumming on kitchen appliances (you know, Food & Wine Festival and all). These folks are always fun to watch.
Up next was Stephen located backstage at the Walt Disney World Art Studio with Disney Parks Live Entertainment Art Director Brett Owens. Brett showed us how to draw Remy. It’s amazing what you can do with some lines and circles!
Hungry? Next Marylin introduced us to a Disney Chef Gavin who showed us how to create jerk chicken with sweet plantain salad and mango chutney yogurt. It looked delicious!
To conclude the live event we heard some more of the JAMMitors (which is always a “banging” time). Thank you Florida Blue and Disney for putting together this 1-hour event for all of us to enjoy in the comfort of our homes.
