Behold a brand-new nighttime fireworks spectacular that empowers you to believe in yourself and in magic.

The new intro to Magic Kingdom’s Enchantment nighttime show is now implemented. The intro features Walt and Roy Disney along with other historical, nostalgic clips from Walt Disney World’s past. This intro was put in because Guests were upset at the fact that Disney created a 50th Anniversary fireworks show featuring zero nostalgia or nods to the history of the Walt Disney World Resort.

  1. It’s about time! Should have never been created without them in the first place. That was just another in a long line of bad decisions.

    • Yep! How annoying? Guests had to complain about it? I mean, come on! Do they not do user testing? User feedback before going live? SMH.

  2. I thought the same thing when we were there back in July!! I am so glad others felt the same. My impression on both Enchantment and Harmonious was that Disney is all in on Moana, Princess and the Frog, Encanto, Coco, etc. I was really disappointed that there was minimal inclusion of the classics, especially since it is the 50th anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World.
