Top 5 Ice Cream Treats to Beat the Heat in WDW

So I thought I’d do something different this week, and talk about my favorite treats that help me stay cool in the blistering Florida heat. Make sure you add Park Hopper to your tickets, because these can be found all throughout “the world.”

#5 2319 Cone

The 2319 cone can be found at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland. It’s mango-vanilla soft-serve, topped with a white chocolate sock and orange sprinkles. For full transparency, I’ve never had this cone, but I did have the “Up” inspired cone, which flavor-wise was essentially the same thing, and that was delicious – so I’m sure this new Monsters Inc themed snack is just as tasty! The 2319 cone is available for $5.99 or as a snack credit. The Disney Parks Blog mentioned this new treat in a recent post.

#4 Ample Hills Ice Cream

Everything at Ample Hills is delicious, so it’s extremely hard to pick just one flavor – however, my favorite is “The Munchies” (pretzel-infused ice cream with a mix of crackers, potato chips, pretzels, and crushed chocolate candies.) You can get a small cup for $6.99 or use it as a snack credit. And for those who don’t know, Ample Hills is located at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.

#3 Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake

The peanut butter & jelly milkshake is found at 50s Prime Time Café in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It retails for $9. To be fair, I’ve only had the peanut butter milkshakes, sans jelly because I’m not a jelly person, but I know people who go crazy for the full shake! It’s creamy and delicious, and the perfect way to wash down “Cousin Megan’s Traditonal Meatloaf”.

#2 Cake Gelato Shake

The “Cake Gelato Shake,” can be found at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs. It’s vanilla gelato blended with milk and “cupcake syrup,” topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a maraschino cherry. It fills my birthday cake loving heart with so much happiness! If you’re not a cake fan like me, they also have different gelato shake flavors, like “s’mores,” “salted caramel,” and “cookies ‘n cream.” All shakes are $7.50.

#1 Mickey Premium Bar

Did you really think I wasn’t going to include the absolute best Disney snack on this list? Seriously, Premium Bars are the greatest treat in the entire world, and I’m not being dramatic!!! They’re the perfect blend of sweet chocolate and creamy vanilla goodness. You can find them all over the parks and resorts, and they sell for $5.39 or you can use a snack credit.

So that’s it for my top 5 ice cream treats! Did I miss anything? What would your list look like? Let me know in the comments!
