When my DW and I were at WDW a week or so ago, we got to go on the updated ride.

It really hasn't changed much. The interactive feature is pretty neat, and the new narration is nice, but it will never beat the original.

LUCKY! When we went in December they were doing the random open times and I never got to go on it. I also heard the original was better. Nothing will beat Walter.

The interactive portion in the ride cars is reminiscent of the kinds of choices you got to make in Horizons.

Yea, I heard all the negative reviews of the ride were really overstated and it's really a nice update. I'm looking forward to seeing it on our next trip.

Horizons was one of the best rides in Epcot back then. I always enjoyed going up the spiral "staircase" in the beginning. Oh man, this is when time machines would be useful.

I must say I enjoyed the new Spaceship Earth.

The interactive thing amused me lol seeing your head floating around on Spaceships and on Divers costumes and all!

I think Judy Dench did a good job.

I miss the old SE though especially when you went backwards and saw all the cool lights and things near the end.

would be cool if Disney made the plans available to the public of their destroyed rides. i'm sure someone would put forth the effort to rebuild what was.
