Just a thought on the possibility surrounding recent rumors in Animal Kingdom. I'll put on my best Edgar Caycee, or Jean Dixon impression and attempt a shot.

I think the closing of Pocahontas is just the start for that area. slowly you will see the Lion King also close followed by Camp Minnie Mickey. the area will be entirely closed as the revamp it for a new land based on Narnia. This of course after research is done on how well the public embraces Harry Potter's new addition over at Universal. if a go, it would serve many purposes. Direct competition for Potter, coincide with the upcoming movies The Voyage of the Dawn Treader(2010)The Silver Chair(2012), the land of Narnia is Animal based thus it fits well in Animal Kingdom, and of course Boosting the attendance for Animal Kingdom! it will finally reach the level DHS has struggled to reach as a viable park like Epcot and Magic Kingdom. (viable in the fact that DHS took so long to become what it is today. personally i used to only spend 1/2 a day at DHS and today I still struggle to spend a full day there, much like Animal Kingdom. while Epcot and Magic Kingdom are easily a full day park adventure.)

but narnia has NOTHING to do with the theme of animal kingdom? No?

It's pretty good rumor. Narnia does have a lot of animals in the movie, be it mythological.
