Disney is creating a Fairy line of movies and up to this point has been a tough obstacle for them to achieve. The project has been retooled several times for reasons ranging from poor quality to the Disney/Pixar merger where John Lasseter, who is a self-proclaimed Tinker Bell fan, forced an overhaul on the project.
Now Disney is reporting another change for the series of movies and one that we know of now is... Tinker Bell has a voice! This is the first time we'll hear Tinker Bell's voice. In previous movies she speaks with the voice of chimes or a bell, but no human understands her other than Peter Pan. Tink will be voiced by 19 year old Mae Whitman.
See the video of John Lasseter introducing Tinker Bell's new voice after the jump.
