I have been doing some research and I feel that D-CoT is not serving very well as a Disney informational website. We have lots of information about the Disney theme parks and resorts, but most of our loyal members are joining and coming back for the jukebox. I can't blame you, it's good music.
Statistics show me that 95% of the hits to the site are in the jukebox. WOW! Because of this, I'm going to be looking into converting the site over to an all out social network jukebox. What does that mean? In early 2009 I will be converting the site over to a complete social network site with user friendly functionality like Facebook.
Most of the features you have now will still be available like writing on mouse pads, adding pals and customizing your profile. New features will include a photo gallery where you can share you precious Disney moments with others. A news feed of what your pals are doing so once you log in you can stay up-to-date with what they're doing. For example, you log in and notice Joe Smith just joined the group "Disney Meet 2008". All members will also be able to create their own blogs so they can share trip reports with the world.
As for the jukebox, I will also be developing a newer version with more features like rating songs and comments.
Since the new site will be using a new back-end, I will do my best to move over all of your accounts. I would like to avoid everyone creating new accounts.
