The Hall of Presidents in 2009
Thursday, March 06, 2008
With the upcoming elections and a new Commander-in-Chief in 2009, what are Walt Disney's plans for updating The Hall of Presidents? Most of us look forward to seeing a new face at this attraction, but we never take account for incidents like the Monica Lewinsky scandal and/or that George W. Bush would wind up with the lowest presidential approval rating in history. When the audience hears these presidents speak in the current attraction, boo's can be heard throughout the theatre...

The Hall of Presidents

Disney is taking another look at how to approach this problem. Their solution? Well, it's strictly going to be a non-speaking role. The current show is 22 1/2 minutes long and Disney wants to cut it down to 15 minutes.

It is rumored that the Imagineers are actually planning on adding something new to this Magic Kingdom classic. To be specific, creating a moment in this show where that AA version of Abraham Lincoln would then stand up and recite the Gettysburg Address.

Do you think these updates will help bring this attraction back to life?
