forum topic display and image attachment bugs 02/24/2008 06:12 am Karma: 0
OK, this might take some explaining..

In the forum, when reading posts, the top bit of the message pane contains the thread title and when it was posted, however the when it was posted bit appears in the same font/style as the actual message, and there's no real separation between them other than a line break. This might just be me being picky, but to me it looks slightly confusing. I've attached a PNG image to demonstrate this. As you can see, it looks like both posts start with "Day ago" before going into the actual message.

Perhaps having the topic info's background a different colour would help, or adding a horizontal line between the topic info and the message? Or something else that separates the topic info from the message.

Also, when attaching images in the forum, if it exceeds the max of 499 pixels, the forum rejects it (as it should), but gives me *two* identical popup messages telling me this.

Andy.

That makes sense. Thanks for pointing that out. I would actually like to get rid of the way it timestamps the posts and turn it into a normal month/day/year time.
