Primeval Whirl Gets a Safety Upgrade |

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 |
Due to last November's death of an employee, Disney's Animal Kingdom Primeval Whirl attraction is getting added safety features,
Sensor mats are being installed in the sector of the loading zone and if someone is to step on them while Primeval Whirl is running, it will automatically shut the attraction down. Conspicuous stripes are also being added to better differentiate the loading and unloading zones.
Primeval Whirl continues to operate during this time, with the safety upgrades scheduled when the park is closed.
