I've mentioned in another thread about the instant messenger I have set up so that members can chat with each other in real time, and now I'm ready to reveal what I plan to do with it.
I've always wanted to have a website I could go to and get all my Disney information in one shot AND also meet other Disney people. I also wanted it to be easy to figure out. So here's what I plan on doing for this site.
It's great to have the usual social networking site with photos, videos and news updates. How about something with a twist?

Inside one web browser window you will be able to do the following:
-Chat with friends in real time (personal and group chat)
-Get the latest Disney news (future customizing for any news RSS feed you wish)
-Stream our collection of unreleased Disney music including area loops and ride music
I've been collecting park music and I am up to almost 800 and should have 1,000 by the time this project gets finished.
Since the streaming of music is "on-demand" you will only be able to stream depending on how many points you have. Each new member will get 120 points and you receive 1 point for every post you make in the forums. 2 points is 1 minute of streaming time. (This may change)
Of course, I'm up for suggestion since I want this to be a community thing.
