I'm almost ready to have you all start testing the new instant messenger that links directly to your D-CoT account.
The platform this is built on will allow us to turn DIM (D-CoT Instant Messenger) into a news portal with unlimited amounts of fun. It's web-based until further development goes into it. Here are the basics.
Once you login, you will see your buddy list. Even if you have pals on D-CoT, they are seperate in the IM application. You will have to add them manually. Just press the green plus icon and type in your friend's username.
You can also set your status like most popular instant messenger applications. Use the drop down menu and let your friends know you're away or busy. If someone is bothering you, you can set yourself to invisible or just block the contact.
Start up a chat by double clicking your friend's name in your list. The window you see is like any normal chat window. You can change your font styles and send emoticons. You can also join an existing chat room or start your own.
