The Muppets are coming back to the silver screen. Disney announced that Jason Segel, star of How I Met Your Mother, will be writing the film. Segel contacted Disney to let them know that he was interested in creating a new Muppet movie. In person, he pitched the idea to Disney representatives who found the idea exciting and interesting. There is no information yet on what the movie will be about or when the movie will start production.
