Happy Birthday Tokyo Disneyland |

Friday, April 18, 2008 |

25 years ago, the very first Disney theme park opened outside of the US. Our friendly and talented Imagineers designed the park to resemble Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
Tokyo Disneyland consists of World Bazaar, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Westernland, Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown. The park, however, is not owned by Disney. The Oriental Land Company licenses the Disney name and theme from the Walt Disney Company.
In 2001, a second park was built turning the park into the Tokyo Disneyland Resort. This second park is Tokyo DisneySea.
