Anything from the French Pastry shop in EPCOT! YUM!! I especially LOVE the Napoleon! The chocolate mousse is really good too! Main Street Bakery offers a lot of snack options too. I had a ginormous cinnamon roll nearly the size of my face there as a snack credit. The funnel cake from Sleep Hallow (at Magic Kingdom) was so yummy and fresh. Don't forget a Mickey ice cream bar is usually a snack credit too! I'll stop now, because now I'm hungry for all of these things! Enjoy your trip and happy eating!

I second the bakery in France at Epcot. Great selection of snack options and they're all exceptionally good!

Dole Whip Float in Adventureland
Frozen Coke Slushies in all parks
Chocolate Dipped Frozen Banana from ice cream carts
of course Mickey Ice Cream Bars YUMMM!

I have to have a bucket of popcorn on every trip. Somehow it just tastes better in a plastic bucket with Disney characters on it!

We save our DDP snack points til the last day, then we stock up on the big soft cookies sold at the souvenier and snack shops for the trip home.

Okay, this falls outside the snack realm, however, if you get the chance and you want to feed the sweet tooth, head over to Beach Club Villas. Go to the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Most everything there is sinful. For the ultimate, grab a few of your friends and order the "Kitchen Sink" (I think that's what it's called). Now this is about eight scoops of ice cream served with all the toppings in the house and a whole can of Whipped Cream.

Speaking of ice cream we always get the sundae in a waffle bowl from the ice cream shop on Main Street. In DHS go to the writers shop and try the carrot cake cookie. YUM!! There is also the new caramel shop in Germany in WS. They have everything made with caramel you can think of. Also in WS is the bakery in Norway. The giant pretzel covered in almonds is wonderful!

I'm of the opinion that there should be a 'snack only' DDP option. Although I'm sure that would not be the most healthy option :D

My favorites:

The Waffle Sundae from the Main Street Ice Cream Shop(pe):

Tie Dye Cheesecake from the Pop Centry:

School Bread from the Kringla (Norway) Bakery in Epcot:

The Kitchen Sink: (although it hardly counts as a snack!)

I love funnel cakes- love to eat them during Wishes. Dole Whips are wonderful also. If we have any "extra" snack credits, we buy rice krispie treats and take them home.

Plus love the Beignets and the chocolate mousse from France. I am hungry now!

I second the cinnamon rolls at Main Street Bakery and absolutely anything from the Kringla bakery in Norway! We are usually so full from our DP that we have a lot of snacks left over and buy rice crispy Mickeys to take home. You can also get fruit for a snack if you want to be healthy. But who wants to be healthy at Disney, right?

I agree with the Starring Rolls Cafe, love those cupcakes! Just discovered them on my last trip thanks to the disney food blog. When I went this time I was on a mission to some of them.

Also the carrot cake cookie sandwich at the Writer's Stop at DHS is great. DHS seems to have some great pastries.

Honorable mention goes to the giant ice cream cookie sandwich at main street ice cream shop...you know, after you've sampled all the giant cupcakes elsewhere.

Also just read about giant oreo cookies and the cheesecake brownie...will search for them on my next trip.

I'll take one of everything described above thanx! This thread is why I laugh at people who want to eat healthy while at Disney World. Come on people, look at what you're missing!!

Eating healthy is last thing I'm thinking about. I am going to have to try the Writer's stop. Our favorite has been the Swirl soft serve cone at Mrs. Ptts for years. It is as much tradition as anything. I am also starting to develop a fondness for the cupcakes at Roaring Fork in WL

One year I did decide I was going to skip the french fries with all the quick service meals and opt for the carrots instead because the fries aren't even remotely yummy..... so that I would feel better about all of the pastries I was eating!
Yes, I was totally deluded. :)

If you can go during Food and Wine, you can snack yourself silly all the way around the World! I never miss the chocolate creme brulee and the snack size cheese soup from Le Cellier.

Otherwise.... for some reason I must absolutely randomly have a Wetzel's Pretzel! And yes, popcorn always tastes better in a plastic bucket. Carrot cake cookie and a chocolate dipped gingerbread man while waiting for Fantasmic..... a cupcake from that little window that I can't remember the name of over in Harambe at DAK.

Mickey head shaped rice krispie treat that will take up my entire carry on from Main Street Bakery to gnaw on for a week upon returning home.... unless of course someone in my household finds where I have it hidden.

Make sure you double check the map. Just when you think you know exactly where you are going and never ever use a map..... Tinkgrl and I wandered all over looking for the door! I almost felt like someone kept moving it on us so we couldn't get our carrot cake cookies!
