Disney made an announcement that the Disney Vacation Club will be expanding to include two more resort choices. The Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be 15 stories high and house 300 units. The best part is, this will be the first DVC resort to be in walking distance of the Magic Kingdom. The tower is expected to open next fall.
Disney will also be rebuilding the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Those will be located in a wooded area and will house 60 units. They will open next summer.
The Disney Vacation Club has 350,000 members and has nine locations to choose from.
