A main attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the animals. There are over 200 hoofed animals and birds. It is important to know there are plenty of opportunities for Guests to view and learn about the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, however, animals are for viewing and educational purposes only. Guests cannot feed or touch the animals. Animals will be as close as twenty feet away from certain Guest areas and are free roaming.
