Animatronic WALL-E Robots Coming to Disney Parks
Tuesday, April 29, 2008
WALL-E Remember those talking garbage cans in Epcot? Or maybe that palm tree that wanders around the entrance to Animal Kingdom? They are fun to interact with, aren't they? Well now Disney would like to present to you WALL-E! That's right, Disney is currently building "mobile animatronic" versions of WALL-E which will be able to rove around Disney parks and presumably interact with guests.

The first of these will be placed at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. Either of the Disney parks which help form the Disneyland Resort in California will feature one as well. The animatronic WALL-Es will be life-size, standing at about 3 feet tall.

I would love to see this!
